You said, " The biggest difference between the coping strategies of a religious person and a nonreligious person is a matter of the heart." I believe this to be one of the most important things to mention given the fact that a person will indeed respond to stress based on his or her assumptions about said stress. For the Christian, his or her response will be to hasten to the throne of God. For the person who does not believe, his or her response may be to turn towards things that do not align with the word of truth.
