Dr. Milacci shared with us the other day at the restaurant, how John Ortberg did a series of Sermons called "Friday, Saturday, and Sunday". He shared with us how there are many third day stories in the bible. Usually Friday is the day of destruction, struggles, THE CROSS, and then on Sunday you hear about the breakthrough, restoration, THE RESURRECTION. But what happens on Saturday? Dr. Milacci reminded us how we do not know we are in a third day story until the third day. So on Saturday we are calling out to God asking him to Help us, do something, rescue me... It encompasses the pain of Friday and the Silence and agony on things remaining the same way. But the exciting thing is that a third day story ends in Hope, so our Journey is worthwhile when we can understand that the Saturdays in our lives are usually those times we seek God the most before the deliverance of our troubles. We are called to wait on the Lord. I would also add that helping our clients understand to reframe their situations and have this perspective may also be beneficial.Erika Y.
